J Martins Marries His Pregnant Fiancee (PHOTOS)



Popular Nigerian Singer and Producer, J Martins (real name: Martins Okey Justice) got married yesterday to his lovely boo Nnezi Mbila, an Abuja based Banker in Lagos.The wedding was kept secret for some reasons. Nnezi is reportedly 4 months pregnant too.
Jay and Nnezi had had their traditional wedding January 2nd, 2012 in Ohafia, Abia state.
Big congrats to them.

EFCC Arrests Nigerian Football Federation Vice President Mike Umeh




The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arrested the Vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Mr. Mike Umeh. He was picked up by operatives of the Commission today in Lagos following a warrant by a Sokoto High Court.

He will tomorrow, May 28, 2013 appear before Justice Bello Abass of the Sokoto High Court.

Umeh is an accomplice in the case of money laundering and misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N15billion for which former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State is standing trial.

Professor Chinua Achebe goes home


Prof. Chinua Achebe was buried on thursday at his country home in Ogidi, Idemili North LGA of Anambra state. His burial was attended by president Goodluck Jonathan, Ghana’s President John Mahama, all governors of Eastern states (minus Sullivan Chime of Enugu state), governor Emmanuel Iduaghan of Delta state and members of the international community of writers.

Deadly Tornado In Oklahoma Kills 91 & Injures 233



Two entire schools flattened in Moore, Oklahoma after 200 mph winds pulverized a 30-square-mile stretch yesterday
At least 91 people confirmed dead, authorities say, and at least another 233 injured in local hospitals
More than 20 children are among the dead, including the seven found drowned in Plaza Towers
Children were told to hold on to the walls, while teachers shielding the students with their bodies
Hundreds of homes wiped out and more than 8,000 people left without power
The devastating tornado was larger than 1999 storm in the area that left 36 people decade

How I Was Kidnapped By A Club Girl In Ikeja- Victim Narrates Story

A 28-year-old man, Ayodele Olaoye, who was allegedly kidnapped by a lady, Esther Phillips, he met at a Club in Opebi, Lagos, has narrated his ordeal before an Ikeja High Court. 

Esther was said to have conspired with six others to commit the alleged offence.The other suspects are Patricia Nna, Kingsley Okonwa, Osita Adigwe, Uzochukwu Ezioha, Jude Sunday and Michael Olarenwaju, who are being prosecuted by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.
